- Lasts 3 hours 30 minutes
A deeply personal two-day experience combining releasing and grounding techniques through meditation, yoga and shiatsu massage.
Day One — 2 hours
Enjoy a private one-on-one session with a qualified and experienced meditation, yoga and shiatsu therapist. Your session may incorporate:
Breathing techniques (pranayama)
Supported meditation and yoga poses using props
Self-massage and abdominal massage
Meridian theory and acupressure
Dietary therapeutics
Other yogic and Oriental therapy techniques tailored to your needs
Following your first session, your therapist will begin designing a short, personalised meditation, yoga and self-massage program for you to continue at home.
Day Two — 1.5 hours
The second day offers a deeper immersion into yoga and meditation, a review of the techniques introduced on day one, and a shiatsu massage that builds upon the foundation established during your first session.
The 1.5-hour appointment includes 30 minutes allocated to your therapist to complete your personalised take-home program.
How to enquire
As this experience takes place across two consecutive days, all bookings are subject to therapist availability on both days.
Please submit an enquiry and select your preferred time. You will be asked to provide your card details, and a pre-authorisation will be placed on your card. This securely verifies the card but is not a completed payment.
Once we receive your enquiry, our team will:
Check availability for both days.
Confirm your preferred times where possible, or contact you to discuss suitable alternatives.
Finalise the booking and charge the registered card only after the dates and times have been confirmed.
If we cannot accommodate your requested dates and no suitable alternative can be arranged, your booking will not proceed and the pre-authorisation will be released.
Submitting an enquiry does not confirm your booking. Please wait for confirmation from the Shizuka Ryokan team before making other arrangements.
